This episode features Superboy’s earliest comic book appearances: NEW FUN COMICS 101 (Jan./Feb. 1945) – 107 (Jan./Feb. 1946) and ADVENTURE COMICS 103, April 1946. Also featured is the first issue of SUPERBOY, March/April 1949, published on January 8, 1949.

The earliest Superboy stories have been reprinted in ADVENTURES OF SUPERBOY, published on August 17, 2010. It contains the Superboy stories originally printed in NEW FUN COMICS 101 – 107 and ADVENTURE COMICS 103 – 121.

SUPERBOY #1 was reprinted in MILLENNIUM EDITION (62): SUPERBOY #1.
